How to make
Ingredients
- 2 tsp (10 mL)PC®Blue Menu®Omega Oil
- 1 pkg (275 g)PC®Blue Menu®Unsalted Natural Almonds
- 3 tbsp (45 mL)Liquid honey
- 1 tsp (5 mL)Cumin
- 1 tsp (5 mL)Smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL)Smoked chipotle chili
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL)Salt
- 1 tbsp (15 mL)Sesame seeds
How to make
- Step 1Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2In large nonstick frying pan, heat oil over medium heat; add almonds and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in honey, cumin, paprika, chipotle chili and salt. Cook, stirring, for 30 seconds or until honey thickens slightly. Scrape onto prepared baking sheet.
- Step 3Bake in centre of oven for 20 to 22 minutes, stirring once, or until almonds are dark and shiny. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Spread out evenly on baking sheet to cool.
