How to make

Ingredients

  • 8 tsp (40 mL)Sweetened flaked coconut
  • 1 can (400 mL)Coconut milk
  • 1 cup (250 mL)Cold 35% whipping cream
  • 4 podsPC®Hot Chocolate Mix Single Serve Pods

How to make

  • Step 1Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Step 2Place coconut on rimmed baking sheet. Bake in centre of oven for 5 minutes, stirring often, or until golden brown. Set aside to cool.
  • Step 3In small saucepan, heat coconut milk over low heat until hot, about 5 minutes.
  • Step 4Meanwhile, in bowl and using electric mixer, whip cream until stiff peaks, about 3 minutes; place in refrigerator.
  • Step 5One at a time, brew hot chocolate pods; divide each into two glasses or mugs. Add 1/4 cup (50 mL) warm coconut milk to each glass. Spoon 1/4 cup (50 mL) whipped cream on top of each and sprinkle with 1 tsp (5 mL) coconut.
