Graham crackers are great, but cookies? Much better. The bottoms of PC® Belgian Chocolate & Toffee Cookies are coated in chocolate, which means these s’mores have three layers of melted chocolate. Tuck in bananas, strawberries and crunchy peanuts to give this extravagant twist on classic s’mores a banana split vibe.

How to make

Ingredients

  • 8PC® Belgian Chocolate & Toffee Cookies
  • Halfsmall banana, sliced
  • 3strawberries, hulled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL)PC® Honey Roasted Peanuts, chopped
  • 4thin squares milk chocolate
  • 4PC® Maple Flavour Marshmallows

How to make

  • Step 1Arrange 1 cookie, chocolate side up, on work surface. Stack one-quarter each of the banana, strawberries, peanuts and chocolate on top of cookie.
  • Step 2Thread 1 marshmallow onto skewer; grill over medium-high heat, turning often, until puffed and lightly charred. Place marshmallow over chocolate and sandwich with another cookie, chocolate side down, pressing gently. (Tip: If chocolate doesn’t melt, wrap the s’mores in foil and grill until gooey.)
  • Step 3Repeat with remaining cookies, banana, strawberries, peanuts, chocolate and marshmallows to make four s’mores total.
  • Try this: No fire? You can easily make these s’mores indoors. Simply assemble, wrap in foil and bake on a baking sheet in 350ºF (180ºC) oven until chocolate is melted.
