How to make
- Cooking spray
1 cup (250 mL)all-purpose flour
1/3 cup (83 mL)chopped pecans
1/4 cup (60 mL)each granulated sugar and packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp (2 mL)baking powder
1/4 cup (60 mL)butter, softened
2 tbsp (30 mL)milk
1 bar (90 g)PC® Ruby Cocoa Bean Bar, roughly chopped
1-1/2 cups (375 mL)mini marshmallows
How to make
- Step 1
Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Mist 8-inch (2 L) square metal cake pan with cooking spray. Line bottom of pan with parchment paper (do not cover sides). Set aside.
- Step 2
Whisk together flour, 1/4 cup pecans, granulated sugar, brown sugar and baking powder in large bowl. Add butter; using fingers, mix until crumbly. Add milk; mix gently with fingers to form rough dough. Press into bottom of prepared pan.
- Step 3
Bake until deep golden and crisp, 25 to 30 minutes.Let cool completely.
- Step 4
Arrange oven rack in top position. Preheat broiler to high. Sprinkle half of ruby confection over crust. Top with marshmallows and remaining pecans. Broil on top rack until marshmallows are golden, 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Step 5
Immediately sprinkle with remaining ruby confection. Let cool. Cut into squares.
