How to make

Ingredients

  • 4PC® Thick & JuicyTM Prime Rib Burgers (thawed, if frozen)
  • 4slices jalapeño Monterey Jack cheese (optional)
  • 4brioche hamburger buns, split
  • 1ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and sliced
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL)pico de gallo salsa
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL)PC® Cilantro Lime Crema
  • 4lettuce leaves

How to make

  • Step 1Preheat barbecue to medium. Oil grill.
  • Step 2Cook burgers, lid down, turning once, until cooked through, 12 to 14 minutes, topping with cheese in last minute of cooking (if using). Let stand 2 minutes. Meanwhile, add buns, cut sides down, to grill; cook until lightly charred, 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Step 3Place burgers on bun bottoms and top with avocado and salsa; drizzle with crema and top with lettuce, dividing evenly. Sandwich with burger tops.
  • Try this: Swap out the avocado and pico de gallo for grilled pineapple slices and tomatillo salsa, or try grilled red onion rings, ranch-dressed slaw and your favourite barbecue sauce.
