How to make

Ingredients

  • 4 tsp (20 mL)

    PC®100% Pure Maple Syrup
  • 4 tsp (20 mL)

    PC®Old-Fashioned Dijon Prepared Mustard
  • 2 tsp (10 mL)

    PC®100% Pure Safflower Oil
  • 1 pkg (280 g)

PC®Applewood-Smoked Bacon-Wrapped Atlantic Salmon Skinless Fillets, frozen

How to make

  • Step 1

Soak PC Cedar Grilling Plank in cool water for 4 hours, weighing down to keep submerged. Prepare spray bottle of water in case of flare-ups.

  • Step 2

Preheat barbecue with one side on high heat and other side on low heat.

  • Step 3

Whisk together syrup, mustard and oil. Brush half of glaze all over frozen salmon.

  • Step 4

Remove plank from water; place smooth-side-down on hot side of grill 1 minute. Turn plank over; place on low heat side of grill. Place salmon portions on plank, spacing evenly apart. Close lid and cook 15 minutes (keep lid closed entire time).

  • Step 5

Open lid; rotate plank while still keeping on low heat side. Brush salmon with remaining glaze. Close lid; cook another 10 minutes or until salmon is golden, caramelized and flakes apart easily. Transfer salmon to serving platter and place plank in bucket of water.
