How to make
Ingredients
- 3 cups (750 mL)PC®Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour Blend
- 2 tsp (10 mL)Quick-rising yeast
- 1 tsp (5 mL)Salt
- 1-1/3 cups (325 mL)2% milk
- 2Large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 tbsp (15 mL)PC® Organics Pure Honey
- 2 tsp (10 mL)PC® 100% Pure First-Pressed Canola Oil
- 1 tsp (5 mL)White vinegar
How to make
- Step 1Bring all ingredients to room temperature before starting. Line 8 X 4-inch (1.5 L) metal loaf pan with parchment paper leaving a 1-inch (2.5 cm) overhang on two long sides.
- Step 2Whisk together flour, yeast and salt in large bowl. In separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, honey, oil and vinegar; pour into flour mixture. Mix well to combine.
- Step 3Scrape dough into prepared pan. Smooth top with moistened fingers; cover loosely with plastic wrap. Place in warm place until dough rises to top of pan, about 1 hour.
- Step 4Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Remove plastic wrap.
- Step 5Bake in centre of oven 1 hour or until dark golden and toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean. Remove from pan; discard parchment. Let cool completely on rack before slicing, about 1 hour.
