The PC® Non-Stick Grill Tray and PC® Non-Stick Grill Sheet will help you cook just about anything.

Whether you’re at the cottage or strolling through your neighbourhood, there’s one scent that says summertime: .

This summer, revolutionize the way you cook with the new  and . These two necessities will bring out your inner grill master—and help cut down on clean up time. Win-win!

Half the fun of barbecuing—apart from just being outside in the brilliant sunshine—is mastering the right sear. So, we hear your frustration when food sticks to the grate or falls through the slats.

Cue the , a thin, flexible, non-stick sheet that can burnish your grill-master reputation.

Made from a high-tech polymer finished with a non-stick coating, the  stops food from sticking or falling through the grate, but is thin enough to let the heat transfer through. You get that professional-looking sear on your steak or portobello mushrooms, for example, without the scrubbing and soaking after.

“How fun would it be to cook your breakfast outside in the sunshine, soaking up Vitamin D?”

At the same time, the fact that it’s a sheet means you can cook items—like eggs and bacon, for example—that wouldn’t normally work on a barbecue grill. It’s basically like taking your stove top alfresco.

“Your outdoor space becomes like a second kitchen,” says Nikki Dhaliwal a PC® product manager. “How fun would it be to cook your breakfast outside in the sunshine, soaking up Vitamin D?”

Do we smell a new summer tradition?

It’s also reusable, Dhaliwal says, meaning you won’t have to keep reaching for the aluminum foil. And it wipes clean with just a bit of dish soap. When you’re done, you can just roll it up and pop it in a kitchen drawer.

Dhaliwal uses this easy-to-clean grill sheet to cook delicate foods such as pineapple or pieces of fish, both of which make for some great summer tacos.

The ’s partner-in-crime is the , a deceptively simple device that lets you go “beyond your typical burgers and skewers,” says Dhaliwal, who uses it to blister hot shishito peppers, but it works for everything from shrimp and wings to asparagus.

Because the base of the grill tray is tightly perforated, you’re able to grill foods that might fall apart on a regular grate—think skewered meats, vegetables or even fruit like fresh peaches when they’re in season—but the “food still gets in contact with the flame for that delicious smoky flavour.”

Made from a lightweight iron, the three raised edges of the generously proportioned grill tray make it easy to turn food with tongs or a spatula.

Take Dhaliwal’s lead, and snack on a fresh watermelon and feta salad while your food grills. And maybe set out a pitcher of our  mixed with ginger beer and tequila.
