How to make
Ingredients
- 1frozen sliced banana (about 1-1/4 cups/310 mL)
- 1 cup (250 mL)vanilla-flavoured almond, coconut, soy or other plant-based milk
- 1 scoop (28 g)PC® Plant-Based Vegan Protein + Greens Vanilla Flavoured Protein Drink Mix
- 1 tsp (5 mL)cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) frozen strawberries
- 1 tsp (5 mL)agave syrup
How to make
- Step 1Place 2 tall glasses in freezer until needed.
- Step 2Combine half of frozen banana, 1/2 cup almond milk, half scoop of protein drink mix and the cocoa powder in blender. Blend until smooth, scraping down side if necessary. Divide among glasses. Freeze 10 minutes.
- Step 3Meanwhile, rinse out blender. Combine frozen strawberries, agave syrup and remaining frozen banana, almond milk and protein drink mix in blender. Blend until smooth, scraping down side if necessary. Slowly pour over top of cocoa layer, dividing evenly.
- Step 4Sprinkle with cocoa nibs (if using).
- Try this: Agave syrup is a great vegan alternative to honey. If you don’t have any on-hand, use maple syrup or brown rice syrup.
